JOHN HADDAD AO, FCIA, FICD, FAIM (Director and Chairman)

Director and Chairman John Haddad is Chairman of The Taverns Group of Hotels.

Chairman of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival since 2004 and Board member of Victorian Major Events Company since 1991. John Haddad is a passionate and involved supporter of the arts community and is a Patron of the Victorian Arts Centre. He held the position of Chairman of the Australian National Academy of Music for eight years until 2008. He is Emeritus Chairman of Art Centre Melbourne Foundation Board of Governors.

KEVIN LUSCOMBE AM (Director and Deputy Chairman)

Chairman of Growth Solutions Group

Kevin’s career background has covered senior corporate management and board roles in Australia, USA and South East Asia, and as owner and Chairman of successful marketing services companies in Australia. He won the Sir Charles McGrath award for outstanding contributions to marketing, and has been awarded an Order of Australia for service to the advertising industry, social welfare, international trade and community organisations through the provision of marketing advice.

STEPHEN ADRIAN (Director)

Partner at ShineWing Australia

Stephen has been with the firm for more than three decades. Stephen skill areas include finance, tax and business structures. He is a director for a number of private companies, and a past director of listed public
companies. Stephen authors the Company Directors Manual, recommended by the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the secretary of Victorian Traditional Owners Funds Ltd, an entity established by the Victorian overnment to assist traditional owner groups invest Native Title Settlement amounts. Stephen is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been a director of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival since November 2012. He serves on the Corporate Governance committee and is the Audit and Finance representative.

JANE BROOK (Director)

Director of Brook Associates

Jane has worked in the media and communications industry for some 20 years. Her expertise in leveraging media strategies, properties and events for maximum exposure and value has seen her work with some of the biggest Australian and global consumer brands. Jane has been called upon to undertake tactical media and sponsorship projects for the FIFA World Cup, Olympics and Asian Games and contracted to Chief Media Liaison positions for the Sydney and Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Organisations. After an early career in media and television production, Jane worked in China and Hong Kong before returning to Australia to set up her own agency which became one of Australia’s largest below the line agencies. She then established a marketing communications agency WMC360 which was acquired by Grey Global in 2004. She is one of the founders
of Twenty3 Sport & Entertainment, a leading consultancy in the business of sport and entertainment. Jane is also a board member of Harness Racing Victoria.

PETER CRINIS (Director)

Chief Operating Officer for Crown Hotels and Food & Beverage

In this position, Peter is responsible for one of the largest pieces of tourism infrastructure in Australia. He oversees a team of approximately three thousand employees in Melbourne and Perth supporting the seamless management of over two and a half thousand luxury accommodation rooms across five hotels and twenty-four
restaurants and thirteen bars owned and operated by Crown. He also manages stakeholder interests at Crown’s impressive stable of twenty seven international and luxury brands, fifteen high end restaurants and two verseas hotels. Peter is also a board member of Visit Victoria and Tourism Accommodation Australia.

CRAIG HART (Director and Corporate Governance Chairman)

Founder and Principal of Milestone

Craig is the Founder and Principal of Milestone, a Melbourne based corporate advisory practice. Craig consults to many leading corporations in relation to their performance and strategic development. Prior to forming Milestone, Craig held senior leadership positions with Blueprint Group, Photon Group and Omnciom Group Inc. Before an extensive career in marketing and mergers and acquisitions Craig practised as a lawyer specialising in commercial transactions and commercial litigation. Joining the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Board in 2007 Craig is also the Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee

CHRIS NOLAN (Director)

Chief Operating Officer at Starcom MediaVest Group

Chris joined Starcom MediaVest Group in Melbourne as Managing Director in 2005 and in 2009 was elevated to COO across the national Starcom network, where his focus is driving operational excellence to maintain SMG’s market leadership position in Australia. Chris has more than 15 years experience in the media industry and has experience across a broad portfolio of advertisers including ANZ Banking Group, Suncorp, General Motors, Mars, Snooze and Nike. Prior to joining Starcom, Chris was Managing Partner at Mitchell & Partners, where he spent seven years. He was also a Director of Mitchell-owned Stadia Media and Executive Director of e-mitch. Chris has a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Marketing from Monash University. He is a Director of the M

GORDON GEBBIE (Director)

Gordon has over 30 years’ experience in the wine industry, from production to marketing and sales. He has worked for the Rathbone Wine Group, which owns Yering Station, Mount Langi Ghiran and Xanadu Wines, for the past eighteen years as Commercial Director. Gordon has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, a Bachelor of Oenology and a Masters in International Business.
