Each year we send one lucky winner to work across the world.

Applications are open to all areas of hospitality - from the cellar, the kitchen, the paddock, to front of house.

The winner is flown to three different countries to work in internationally acclaimed hospitality businesses (tailored to their career).

Prize includes flights, accommodation, spending money and year-long mentorship.

About Elika

Elika RowellHead Roaster at Square One Coffee Roasters.

Elika has 13 years of hospitality experience, nine dedicated to the art of roasting and serving specialist coffee, coupled with ambition and sharp leadership skills saw her exceed the Scholarship judging criteria.

The prize

The winner will work closely with us to select three world-class venues anywhere in the world.

You will be sent on the three week trip to three desitinations, with flights, accommodation and spending money included.

On return to Australia you will embark on a year-long mentorship with a local industry leader.

How do I apply?

Applications are accepted via a simple five question online form with CV submission. Applications open 31st March 2017.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to Australian residents aged between 22 years and 35 years who are employed and working in any area of hospitality.  

Selection criteria

  • Demonstrate ambition and a drive to succeed in the Hospitality Industry;
  • Are highly skilled and knowledgeable in a specific discipline within the Hospitality Industry;
  • Demonstrate leadership with the potential to shape the future of the Hospitality Industry;
  • Act in a professional manner and have a willingness to share their skills and knowledge with
  • others; and
  • Have an understanding and willingness to communicate in the digital space.
