Amoré Cucina cooking classes including Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Mexican and Slow Food using fresh, organic, local and seasonal produce.

The cooking classes are held in Warrandyte North high in the hills with a serene outlook and peaceful surrounds. All the cooking classes are hands on and participants have fun preparing a meal together made with love and enjoyed with new friends.

Once a month Amore Cucina has Mediterranean cooking classes at the Italian inspired Panton Hill Winery. Save the air fare and no jet lag. Just 50km from the city, this venue takes you there! The cooking classes at Panton Hill Winery are a great idea for team building and fun before a wedding or simply a group of friends who enjoy good food and wine in an amazing venue.

The Essential Ingredient


The Essential Ingredient Cooking School Schedule is compiled annually and comprises some of the most sought after chef/presenters. The aim is for The Cooking School to be a place of excellent instruction in a demonstration kitchen that is well equipped and state of the art in design.

Our emphasis is on demonstrating techniques and conveying an understanding of ingredients rather than just a straight presentation of recipes. Our classes are an opportunity to experience up-close-personal hands-on instruction in workshops, intimate interactive classes or formal dinner/demonstrations, in this way presenters are not only able to share recipes, but their enthusiasm, passion, ideas and experience during the class.

Enoteca Sileno


The Enoteca Sileno Cooking School has been set up to bring tasty and authentic Italian food to every kitchen.  Our spacious Terrace Room is the ideal setting for both hands-on classes featuring the staples pasta and gnocchi; and demonstration classes, full of tricks and techniques so your dishes turn out perfectly every time.
 
Classes are instructed by our dedicated and passionate Enoteca Vino Bar chefs, and the calendar also features guest appearances by local and expert Italian home cooks and chefs.

George Biron – Sunnybrae

Sunnybrae classes are all hands-on with side-trips to the garden to gather whatever is available. We break for lunch around 1.30 pm. The shared table at lunch provides further opportunities to discuss food, wine, life and the whole catastrophe. After a wander in the garden we return to put finishing touches any other unfinished business. Wines etc are all included.

Tony Tan's Cooking School

From Sydney, Australia's only female 3-star chef, Chui Lee Luk of Claude's returns to explore with us her individual and exceptional take on Chinese gastronomy and Peter Gilmore of Quay, will take us to new levels of gastronomic appreciation.

From Victoria, our stellar line-up includes Dan Hunter from the Royal Mail Hotel, Ben Shewry from 2-hats Attica, Geoff Lindsay from 2-hats Pearl, Andrew McConnell from the new Cutler & Co , Stefano de Pieri from 2 hats Stefano's, Greg Malouf from his new Mezza, Nick Poelaert from Embrasse, Matt Wilkinson from 2 hats Circa, the Prince and Rod Barbey from B.coz. Chef Steven Pallett will conduct a hands-on session on sushi and Baker-pastry chef John Schirmer from La Madre will teach traditional bread-making.

As for my own sessions, new classes include Modern Indian, Beyond Bok Choy, The Other China and The Original Eurasian.
