Come home. Eat and drink where you live.
Almost without exception, everything you need to feed your family and friends, your hotel guests or restaurant customers is grown, made or produced right here in Victoria. From our fine winter citrus to our British breeds of beef, our award-winning cheeses and delicious coastal seafood to our delicate white and robust fortified wines – we have a bountiful supply of stunning fresh produce and exceptional wines grown, harvested or made within a few hours of wherever you are in Victoria.
Supported by Regional Development Victoria, Put Victoria on Your Table is a statewide campaign to encourage consumption of and loyalty to food and wine of Victorian provenance – Victorian produce at fresh produce markets and other food retailers, Victorian wine in retail stores and at cellars, and Victorian food and wine from restaurant and gastropub menus.
Watch the clip below to join chef Matt Wilkinson (Circa, the Prince) on his regional road trip. Be a passenger on his journey to collect the best of Victoria’s bounty, drawing inspiration from the Great Ocean Road, Gippsland, Daylesford and Sutton Grange. Matt returned to Melbourne with an abundance of produce, wine and a passionate bunch of fellow travellers (among them, regional champions Alla Wolf-Tasker and George Biron) to create a three-course lunch for the launch of Put Victoria on Your Table.
