MasterClass in Portrait
Published on March 5 2012.
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presents a world-first photographic project, featuring an extraordinary assembly of 22 influential gastronomic stars from across the globe, all of whom have played a creative role in painting the Festival’s vibrant 20-year history.
Presenting an amplified reality of these culinary greats and Festival alumni seemingly gathered in one location, MasterClass in Portrait was shot across five foodie capitals - London, San Sebastián, New York, Paris and Melbourne – and then woven together into one powerful photographic piece.
Featuring stars Anthony Bourdain, Fergus Henderson, Stephanie Alexander, George Calombaris and Thomas Keller, alongside other global luminaries. MasterClass in Portrait marries 20 years of the Festival’s history with Melbourne’s enduring place on the gastronomic map.
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival would like to thank the world-class creative team who worked to make this dream project a reality:
