French TV celebrity Gontran Cherrier is young, male, single… and he makes the world’s most beautiful French bread. We predict a riot. At 30 years old, he is the fourth generation of his family to train as a baker and patissier, working in Michelin-starred restaurants such as l’Arpege and Lucas Carton before forging out on his own, concentrating on writing cookbooks (nine so far, including a very beautiful one on bread simply titled Pains), television series and global consulting work. He may be watched by millions on France’s Cuisine TV, but we have him here in person, demonstrating his bread skills and holding hands-on demonstrations. (That would be hands on the food, please, not the chef).
Gontran will be presenting at Langham Melbourne Masterclass Saturday 20 March and Miele Hands-On Masterclass on Sunday 21 March.
Gontran Cherrier will be hosted by Anthony Ross at The Langham.
