Guy Grossi

This high-energy, second-generation Italian chef makes a habit of ensuring Melbourne’s gastronomic Italian-style future by restoring our gastronomic Italian-style past. In 1999 he bought the magnificent 71 year old Florentino restaurant and dragged it into the twenty-first century with his subtle but satisfying Italian cooking. Guy revived another Melbourne legend with Mirka at Tolarno Hotel and has since added his Venetian Osteria, Merchant to an already impressive list of gastronomic accolades.
