We are firing up the BBQ and heading outside cooking a menu of porky goodness using delicious Western Plains pigs. The Plough’s chefs will pool their collective nous and draw inspiration from each of their multicultural backgrounds.
Think smoked shoulders, sliders, homemade Italian sausages, crispy pork belly, cheeky Basque croquettes and piggy paratha all served alongside delicious summer slaws and salads.
Footscray’s own Hop Nation Brewers will be taking over the taps and Shadowfax wines will be providing the vino.
'Providing the soundtrack are local country hero's James Ellis & The Jealous Guys followed by Tex Mex songsters Small Town Romance in duo form. Also on show is DJ Cliffhanger who’ll be filling in the blank space.
Child friendly, this event will raise funds for Footscray Primary, Footscray West Primary & Footscray City Primary schools.
For online purchases via melbournefoodandwine.com.au, a credit card fee of up to 1.7% and booking fee of $2.50 per transaction may be applied. Purchases through other sites may incur different booking fees.
