At age 9 Josh Murray started his own free range egg business. Eight years later he has grown from 30 hens to 10,000 and with state of the art mobile solar powered sheds, he now supplies the major supermarkets. During this time he has talked one on one to thousands of customers explaining the ethics and sustainability of how his hens are raised.

Learn about bush tukka food items found in the Australian landscape in this special presentation for Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, by Indigenous artist Cassie Leatham, who will present her bushfood in the traditional coolamons and ways of her ancestors.

Closed Loop will provide an educated and engaging composting expert to deliver public talks on new composting technologies as well as traditional home composting options such as worm farms, tumblers and compost bins.
At the end of each talk, the Closed Loop presenter will giveaway small, 1kg bags of ‘gourmet fertiliser’ – the output of the commercial composter being used to process the MFWF food waste.
