Dinner at Our House - with Ali Currey & Analiese Gregory - SOLD OUT
Tasmanian native Ali Currey-Voumard relocated to Melbourne at just 16 to cook in some of Melbourne’s most renowned kitchens including Cumulus Inc. A self-described ‘culinary creative’, she has since collaborated with artists, producers and wine experts on hybrid food events that aim to redefine what being a chef means.
Ali is now the Head Chef at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery in Hobart, where produce is entirely local and seasonal, and any excess is pickled, fermented and preserved. The Agrarian Kitchen Eatery cracked the coveted Gourmet Traveller Australia top 100 in 2017, under a year after it opened. The Agrarian Kitchen Eatery recently picked up the Santa Vittoria Best Regional Restaurant of the Year in the 2018 National Good Food Guide Awards.
New Zealand born chef Analiese Gregory trained as a chef, working in some of NZ’s leading restaurants, including Logan Brown in Wellington.
She relocated to London and trained under renowned French chef Eric Chavot and Brett Graham at The Ledbury, before a stint in France at Le Meurice in Paris and Maison Bras in Aveyron. When Analiese then settled in Sydney she joined the crew at Quay as Sous Chef to Peter Gilmore before opening Bar Brose in 2016. She now heads up the acclaimed restaurant Franklin in Hobart.
