As day turns to night be transported to a Nordic harvest festival – a celebration of good health, good food and long life. We’re combining traditional Nordic cooking techniques with recipes using Victorian native bush ingredients and produce for an outdoors shared feast highlighting berries, grains, cured and pickled produce, with a strong emphasis on game meat and blazing salmon.
We’ll be adding to the atmosphere with sheepskins and hay bales. And, while we don’t think the Vikings were into fairy lights and candles, we are, so will be throwing them into the decorative mix (not literally, of course).
Not only will you feast like a Viking but also get the chance to try your hand at Scandinavian cooking with a buttermilk cheese workshop.
