Lunch for people experiencing homelessness presented by Melbourne City Mission
The HEAT Homeless Longest Lunch is an event for people affected by homelessness. It runs each year as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and highlights the issues surrounding homelessness and disengagement. Since 2009 over 1,600 members of the homeless community have dined on HEAT.
At the HEAT Homeless Longest Lunch some of Melbourne’s homeless community will be provided with a three course meal designed by HEAT’s Patron, Guy Grossi and HEAT Executive Chef, Arnold Greiner. Held under the mouth of the majestic Luna Park, this event enables these members of the community to enjoy a special experience in an iconic setting.
By donating $60 you will provide a three-course lunch for a person who is experiencing homelessness. A special treat for those doing it tough.
