Head chef Scott Thomas and the team at the Plough are putting together a menu of porky goodness, taking inspiration from their individual cultural backgrounds – think earth-baked shoulders, sliders, homemade Italian sausages, crispy belly, cheeky Basque croquettes and piggy paratha, served alongside summery slaws and salads.
Footscray's own West City Brewers and Werribee's Shadowfax wines will be providing the lubrication; local bands the soundtrack.
Bring the kids as we're all about raising funds for Footscray Primary and Footscray West Primary and having a fun family festival. Ticket price; $53 per person (kids $21) - includes admission, all the pork (and salads) you can eat, first drink, and sweet tunes.
