Regional World's Longest Lunch – Newlyn

Feast with local farmers and chef Matt Wilkinson at Scrub Hill 1869

Join us at Scrub Hill 1869 under the ancient Himalayan Cedar Tree to salute food sovereignty with local farmers and Melbourne chef Matt Wilkinson (Pope Joan).

Matt Wilkinson’s obsession is with growing, sourcing and presenting the best tasting produce he can and appreciates the importance of farmers and food producers to making his gastronomic plans a reality.

In 1869 the Scrub Hill locals commissioned a Bluestone Church forming the heart of the community. Lovingly restored, we honour the local small-scale farming community and bring to the table the best of our neighbours’ toils.
