Newport’s Heart of Hall cafe and cooking school is teaming up with Gem Pier Seafoods to celebrate the bayside town’s love of and connection to the sea.

During this hands-on cooking class, guest will learn how to clean, prepare and cook seafood for tapas and to make nautical-inspired cocktails (think rum, burnt sugar) that speak to Newport’s seafaring soul.

Eating and drinking what you’ve just made is heartily encouraged and may even answer the perennial question: what will we do with a Drunken Sailor?
