Chef Jam returns in 2014

Industry-only Chef Jam, supported by HOSTPLUS returns for Festival 2014 with an evening of quick-fire discussions and lively demonstrations designed to inspire the food and wine industry, from the apprentice to the hospitality pro. Learn from the best in the world and also get together and network with fellow friends in the industry for only $45 a ticket.

Sessions include:

  • Lucky Peach editor-in-chief Chris Ying (San Francisco, USA) and Fool magazine’s Per-Anders Jörgensen (Malmö, Sweden) discussing and debating the rise, and rise, of the food blogger;
  • Renowned pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini (New York, USA) will prove why Forbes magazine voted him one of the 10 most influential pastry chefs in America;
  • Seafood expert John Susman (Sydney, Australia) and sustainability advocate and chef Ryan Squires from three-hat restaurant esquire (Brisbane, Australia) sharing how sustainability influences and inspires their work;
  • Aaron Turner (ex-Loam, Drysdale, Australia) returns to Australian shores to reveal what he's learnt in the USA.

The event will be hosted by Myffy Rigby, Time Out’s chief food and drink critic.
