Melbourne Food and Wine are excited to announce a new partnership for the 2015 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne.
In order to streamline the ticketing process and ensure the best possible experience for all industry taking part in the Festival, Melbourne Food and Wine have partnered with global ticketing services provider Eventbrite. Hundreds of food and wine industry participants hosting events as part of the Festival’s Umbrella Event program will have access to ticketing reports, 24/7 support from Eventbrite’s in-house team, in addition to maximising their ticket sale opportunities through integrated marketing tools.
Since launching in Australia in December 2011, Eventbrite has processed over five million tickets and hosted more than 115,000 events, with more than half of those happening in the last year, working with a number of well-known Australian events and brands including Tough Mudder, Pete Evans, Biennale of Sydney, NextWave, SydStart, Adelaide Food & Wine Festival and TEDx Melbourne. To further support the growth Eventbrite has seen in Australia, the company has opened Asia Pacific headquarters in Melbourne and has a local team focused on growing awareness and business in Australia.
Melbourne Food and Wine is committed to delivering a program of excellence and by partnering with Eventbrite this innovation extends to ticketing technology that will ultimately maximise sales opportunities and allow for dedicated customer support.
