Formula One and Food in the fast “M-Lane”

This year, food and racing will come together on two occasions.

Firstly, the Bank of Melbourne World's Longest Lunch will be held along the iconic main straight of Melbourne's Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit on Friday 4th March.

Two weeks later, the track will come alive with the 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix and feature a new street culture precinct titled M-Lane.

It will feature Melbourne’s famed laneway vibe and include food trucks, street artists and celebrity chefs.

M-Lane is the latest fan attraction to be added to the off-track line up at this year’s 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix and will be located at the south end of the Action Zone and feature live music daily from the likes of APAX and YO! MAFIA.

Fans will be able to enjoy an assortment of delicious food from the following iconic restaurants and street vendors:

· Maha (Shane Delia)

· Bar Lourinha (Matt McConnell)

· Estelle (Scott Pickett)

· Petaluma Wine Bar

· St Kilda Burger Bar

· Mary and a Little Lamb

· Sliders on Tyres

· Those Guys

· Nem N Nem

This is a fusion of all that Melbourne represents – laneways, food, music and coffee – recreating the best of Melbourne.
