Get your coffee hit at the Festival Artisan Bakery & Bar

Melbourne is a city steeped in coffee culture with a populous very familiar with cold-press and ristrettos to the ubiquitous flat white.

This is why we are enlisting the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) to curate something a little special for the 2015 MFWF hub the Festival Artisan Bakery & Bar.

From 27 February to 15 March the Festival Artisan Bakery & Bar will present an archive of Melbourne’s coffee industry history through a rotating line-up of the city’s best roasters.

From classic Italian roasting to third wave coffee speciality trends, MICE has selected local roasters that represent every step in the development of Melbourne’s coffee culture.

Dimattina Coffee and Mocopan Coffee will bring over 70 years of Melbourne roasting experience to the hub, whilst new kid on the block Think Tank Coffee will demonstrate what happens when two-time Australian barista champion, Craig Simons, turns his attention to the specialty coffee market.

Traces of Italian tradition will be represented by Grinders Coffee, the original Lygon St. roasters, through to the latest in roasting revolutions from Coffee Snobs, the biggest coffee website in the Southern Hemisphere.

Other iconic presenters at the MFWF Festival Artisan Bakery & Bar include dc Specialty Roasters, Zest Specialty Coffee Roasters, Veneziano Coffee Roasters and Campos Coffee.

See the full line up in the 'Daily coffee and goods' roster.

Come and try something new, or enjoy an old favourite, accompanied by a freshly baked treat straight from the oven, every day at the Festival Artisan Bakery & Bar.
