In 2013, we turn 21. Time to capture where we’re at in our life with some good old fashioned photography!
Late last year, we embarked on a fun-filled photo-shoot as part of the 2013 Festival advertising campaign, capturing unique event locations, the best Victorian produce, award-winning wines, iconic venues and the smiling faces of more than 10 Festival fans as our dedicated models.
Here are our favourite behind-the-scenes snaps!
To show off the beautiful, historic location for Put Victoria on Your Table: Cellar Door & Artisan Market, this shoot took place at Como House and Garden in South Yarra.
A shot representing the creativity of all of our Regional World’s Longest Lunch organisers, past and present, was captured in the beautiful surrounds of Elgee Park (and we even managed to sneak manager Laurence Tedesco and winemaker Geraldine McFaul in front of the camera!).
Home to Theatre of Ideas presented by epicure, the ever elegant Hamer Hall played the perfect backdrop for this cerebral event dedicated to the future of food. Here we see art director Russ warming up the crowd.
Finally, the iconic Rumi Restaurant in Brunswick came to life thanks to Festival friend Joseph Abboud and his team of talented chefs. Our star diners enjoyed devouring the props after (and, might we add, during!) the shoot.
As with everything we do, our photographic adventure was supported by our passionate friends in the food and wine industry. We raise a glass to the team of dedicated restaurateurs, chefs, stylists, photographers, hair and make-up artists and creative directors who helped us capture the essence of the Festival in some truly unique locations.
We’d like to thank the following people for their exceptional work:
