Highly anticipated by the restaurant industry across the globe, the World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards recognise the cream of the crop, lauding restaurants for incredible dining experiences and memory-making dishes with past award winners including Denmark's Noma, New York's Per Se and Spain's Arzak.

In addition to The World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards, The One To Watch award is their prediction on restaurants on the rise. Historically these awards have boasted an eerie accuracy at recognising up and coming restaurants and chefs, with previous winners including La Grenouillére restaurant in France and Stockholm's two Michelin star restaurant, Frantzén/Lindeberg.

We were thrilled to see that after only being open since July, LIMA restaurant in London, headed by Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez won the 2013 award - see Virgilio in Melbourne when he presents at Langham Melbourne MasterClass.
