Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has partnered with HOSTPLUS in this exciting competition which involves leading names in food including MoVida’s Frank Camorra and Quay’s Peter Doyle.
Cook For Your Career is an innovative and creative way of promoting growth in the hospitality industry – its playing a role in tackling the current skill shortage and raising the profile of apprentice chef roles available in the industry today.
WHAT YOU CAN WIN
The chance to meet and gain an apprenticeship with some of Australia’s leading chefs, including Frank Camorra (MoVida) and restaurateur Peter Doyle (Peter Doyle @ The Quay);
A trip to Melbourne to participate in a grand final cook-off in front of a live audience at the Festival’s HOSTPLUS Foodie Films;
Two nights’ accommodation, a full day ticket to the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Langham Melbourne MasterClass and the chance to network with the country’s greatest culinary masters.
The competition, is open to people from all backgrounds and working ages (15 years nine
months and over), will be run in three stages from January to March, with entries opening 17 January 2011.
