What’s in season?

Now that summer has officially arrived, our friends at Victorian Farmers’ Market Association share what we should be looking out for at the markets. 

Apricots, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, gooseberries, loganberries, mulberries, raspberries, strawberries, youngberries, cherries, currants, figs, grapes, lemons, limes, honeydew melon, rockmelon, watermelon, nashi, nectarines, peaches, plums and rhubarb


Asparagus, Asian greens, avocados, beans, beetroot, broad beans, cabbages, capsicum, celery, chillies, cucumber, carrots, daikon, eggplants, garlic, kohlrabi (green), leek, lettuces, onions, peas, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, snow peas, sugar snaps, squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, zucchini flowers and zucchini.


Bay leaf, parsley, mint, rosemary, thyme, chives, coriander, oregano, marjoram, sage, bronze fennel, dill, basil and watercress
