From 16 to 25 March 2018, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne will call the Hotel Lindrum home.
STAY: For the first time, Festival goers can have the ultimate MFWF experience with an overnight stay at the House of Food and Wine. Chefs Matt Stone & Jo Barrett (Oakridge Restaurant and 2017 MFWF Hostplus Trailblazers) will design the hotel breakfast, mini bar and in-room dining menus. Experience classic room-service dishes reimagined into sustainably sourced, modern updates.
CONCIERGE: Overnight guests will have exclusive access to the House of Food and Wine concierge, who’ll open up a world of events, tables at iconic Melbourne restaurants and perks available only to those in the know.
BAR: Melbourne’s best sommeliers and bartenders will curate a list of unique cocktails and award winning Victorian wines to match a bar menu crafted by Matt and Jo from local, sustainable produce, all exclusive to the House of Food Wine.
DINNER SERIES: The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival will take over the kitchen for a ten-day celebration of Victoria’s world class growers, winemakers and producers with a sustainable vision. Be part of a global movement when you dine in the House of Food and Wine Hotel at the dinner series co-curated by ZeroFoodprint. Each night, an international or interstate guest chef will offer their take on sustainable eating over five courses with matched wine from a master Melbourne sommelier.
EVENTS: Hotel guests won’t need to wander too far from their room to experience special one-off events in neighbouring White Lane and Flinders Lane. Be persuaded that dim sum and Riesling are a match made in heaven (25 March), enjoy classic Spanish fiesta food at the Moritz y Movida Laneway Fiesta (24 March), and dine and dance the night away at the Flinders Lane Neighbourhood Poolside Party (23 March).
