Singapore Airlines has long been recognised for its focus on in-flight dining with a commitment to providing each customer with a restaurant quality meal at 39,000 feet. More than 30 years ago Singapore Airlines established a Wine Consultant Panel, consisting of some of the world’s most revered wine experts.

The Wine Consultants extend their knowledge and expertise to tasting and selecting wines to be served on board, ensuring every glass that is poured on a Singapore Airlines flight is of the highest standard.

In 1997 Singapore Airlines were the first airline in the world to introduce an International Culinary Panel, consisting of some of the worlds’ most celebrated and respected chefs. Inspired by their culture and experiences, and the places Singapore Airlines flies to, the celebrated team of chefs are constantly creating new dishes for customers to experience. The airline were also one of the first to introduce a ‘Book The Cook’ service allowing customers in Suites, First, Business and Premium Economy Class the option of pre-selecting their main meal up to 24 hours before they fly from an extensive list of restaurant quality meals.
