Step back in time to the elegance of the Belle Époque as acclaimed Melbourne chef Scott Pickett reawakens the flavours of Château de Purnon, a 1772 historical monument just south of the Loire Valley. Join the château's owners, Melbourne couple Tim Holding and Felicity Selkirk, for an unforgettable evening of culinary time travel and learn the secrets of their extraordinary efforts to restore and revitalise the château.

Indulge in canapés meticulously crafted to match those on a 1911 menu uncovered during the revival work, and enjoy replicas of pâté en croute and macarons feuilletés, all while sipping French wine in La Vie en Rose, the opulent private dining room of Smith St Bistrot.
