Pastry kings and longtime friends Ash Smith of Stokehouse and Eddie Stewart of Tokyo Lamington want to shine a new light on everything you thought you knew about sweets. The adventure kicks off with a savoury lamington, part of a five-course dessert-centric degustation paying homage to nostalgic pastry trends of the past, while the sun sets over St Kilda Beach.

As Ash and Eddie like to say, desserts are a main event.
