Into The Vines is a unique tasting event where boutique Victorian winemakers bring the fruits of their labours to a Collingwood community eco-hub for a carefully curated evening of tastings and discovery.

Each winery is family-owned, and each has a story to tell. From lesser-known varieties to premium gold medal-winning drops to funky young wines from young guns, each tasting is part of a deep dive into the world of vino.

No wine knowledge is needed – you'll receive a glossary of wine terms, a card so you can rank and score your wines, and some wine-themed conversation-starters so you'll be a wine expert in no time.

Participating wineries include Yugen, Dirty Black Denim, Oscuro Wines, Brave Goose and Parkside Winery and Farm, and you can purchase directly from the makers on the evening. A grazing board will be stocked up on the night to help you cleanse your palate between tastings.

To further elevate the evening, you can add in a 45-minute special food-pairing experience. In this adventure, a wine from each of the participating winemakers (Yugen, Dirty Black Denim, Oscuro, Brave Goose and Parkside Winery) will be paired with a bite showcasing something from the Lenah Game Meats range, prepared by one of the founders, Sally Bruen, and served with a detailed explanation from a wine expert about why the pairing elevates both the food and the drink. It’s a quintessential experience for any curious food lover or epicurean.

Since 1993 Lenah Game Meats has been producing high quality, award-winning Tasmanian game meats with a difference. Lenah is a company with a deep ethical position, and a vision of Australian farmers producing products from indigenous animals, rather than relying solely on ‘exotic’ sheep and cattle. With a vision of more Australians to embrace the abundant naturally occurring resources of wallaby and possum, and wild game – especially those ‘low emission’ alternatives, we felt this was a well aligned partnership for a unique tasting experience with our environmentally conscious small wineries.
