2 Exhibition Street
Melbourne, 3000

Robata leads a journey across Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, showcasing the country’s diverse culinary heritage. Food, sake pairings and storytelling combine in an evening designed to deepen your appreciation for Japan’s gastronomic traditions, where every bite tells a tale, and each sip reveals another layer of heritage.

Over the course of the dinner, you’ll taste the likes of toro sashimi, delicate oyster tempura with matcha salt, A5 Kagoshima wagyu and handmade mochi, plus many more dishes that track through Japan’s various prefectures and landscapes. Sake expert Simone Maynard will pour paired sake, revealing the nuances behind each selection.
