“We’ve admired Pam Yung from afar for many years and are over the moon to welcome her to our home in Brunswick East for a night of cooking over fire,” says chef Rosheen Kaul. And Kaul and the Etta gang are among a great many people who follow Pam’s movements through the world of food.

From Room 4 Dessert in Manhattan to El Celler de Can Roca in Spain and In de Wulf in Belgium, she has cooked at a slew of elite venues celebrated for their creativity. New Yorkers know her as the co-founder of Brooklyn’s dearly missed Semilla restaurant, and recall her residency at Stone Barns with wonder, while Londoners think of her as the head chef of Flor, the Lyle’s spin-off at Borough Market, and its celebrated lockdown persona, ASAP Pizza, and as the person who last year launched the bakery section of Mountain, the hot, hot, hot new restaurant from Tomos Parry and the team from Brat.

Now she calls Bali home, having joined the mighty Potato Head in Seminyak as its new Head of Culinary Innovation. As befits such a globetrotting talent, the night will be hosted by Joanna Hunkin, editor in chief of Gourmet Traveller magazine.
