A special eight-course feast using only authentic Sichuan ingredients, paired with Sichuan tea and Sichuan liquor, allows guests to experience this south-west province of China without the 11-hour flight time. Pre- and post-meal performances (no pandas!) showcase the beauty of Sichuan's food, beverages and culture. Prepare your tongue for tingling – literally.

Immerse yourself in the culture of Sichuan province with a multi-course feast of authentic dishes, plus demonstrations of tea art and tastings of the ingredients that define this intriguing region.

Garlicky cucumber salad, pork and prawn wontons with spicy fragrant red chilli oil and the famous numbing peppercorns, and Sichuan fragrant eggplant are only a few of the many courses that will be served by staff wearing traditional dress.

You'll leave with a new appreciation of the unique numbing-spicy, bitter and aromatic flavours that define the cooking of Sichuan province.
