The National Indigenous Culinary Institute is a program initiated by Australian hospitality venues to train up Indigenous chefs, working with leading restaurants around the country, including MoVida, Icebergs Dining Room & Bar, Catalina, Aria, Margaret, The European and Rockpool Bar & Grill.

For this very special event, NICI alumni chefs Luke Bourke and Sam May, supported by Ronston Baira and Krystie Sabatino, take centre stage at Rockpool, each cooking a course that speaks to their culinary interest and journey. Over a lunch of five courses plus snacks, you’ll hear from the chefs, from guest speakers, enjoy matched wines from Mt Yengo and connect with the work of this one-of-a-kind organisation.

We’ve partnered with Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street to offer MFWF ticket buyers an exclusive hotel room offer during the Festival. Purchase any MFWF ticket and receive 20% off the base room rate between 14 – 25 March 2024. Your purchase confirmation email will include a link to access the offer and book directly with Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street. T&Cs apply, not valid during black out dates.
