Experience the best of legendary CBD restaurant Stalactites in a special meal from chef Dimitra Meilos with Greek wines from Nico Lazaridi. The three-course traditional Greek winter feast begins with psarosoupa kakavia (fish soup with vegetables and lemon) or fasolada (white bean, vegetable and tomato soup) accompanied by feta, olives and house-baked bread.
Hearty, slow-cooked main dishes include a choice of braised goat with tomato and sweet onion casserole, fall-apart beef yiovetsi with rice-shaped pasta in a rich tomato sauce, lamb and chicory fricassee in zingy lemon sauce, and baked tomatoes and peppers stuffed with herbed rice. Baklava with vanilla ice-cream or warm rice pudding with cinnamon, served with Greek coffee, round out the banquet.
