Left Bank Melbourne celebrates truffles in an intimate three-course meal with paired wines. While you enjoy a menu from chef Stan Delimitrou, truffle expert Nigel Wood will share his deep knowledge of this most enigmatic of culinary delights, talking about the process of growing and harvesting the ‘diamond in the kitchen’.
Nigel is founder of The Melbourne Truffle Festival (the largest truffle festival outside of Europe) and his Truffle Paddock farm is just 100km from Melbourne, above the eastern shores of Westernport Bay. He will bring his truffle dogs to do a mock truffle hunt where truffles will be placed around the venue to demonstrate how the dogs uncover the truffles throughout hunting season.
