Altona Crawl

Making the case for Pier Street’s place in the west’s top eat streets, this Crawl takes in three of the strip’s favourite operators for an Altona adventure to remember.

The vibrant flavours of Mexico are the inspiration for the menu at Hangar 1One2 and make a fittingly fresh place to start the evening.

For the main course, the Crawl makes its stately progression to the other side of the tracks to visit Pier 71 Bar e Cucina, Altona’s own home of Italian cooking and wood-fired pizza.

The last stop of the night is Hopheads. “Here for beer”, goes this beer bar’s motto, and with 12 taps and literally hundreds of brews on offer, they’re really not kidding. Whatever your flavour or your level of interest in beer, refreshment awaits.
