Anada versus Bomba. Traditional versus modern. Which paella will prevail? Luckily every paella – and paella eater – will be a winner at this rice-loving rooftop fiesta celebrating the unofficial dish of Spain and exploring its rich history, with unlimited sangria to keep things fresh and feisty.

“The Anada traditional paella is a classic paella of chicken and rabbit with peas,” says Anada and Bomba co-owner and chef Jesse Gerner. “This is the classic paella which is served all over Spain but it originated in Valencia. The modern paella the Bomba team will be cooking will be confit duck, duck crackling, nettles, piquillo jam and horseradish. The modern one is not bound by any tradition; an interpretive paella, if you will. It's going to be a lot of fun."
