Spend a day tasting and making miso with Cibi

Join Cibi co-owner Meg Tanaka for a miso-making workshop and tasting at the beautiful Cibi cafe and design store in Collingwood.

Miso, everyone’s favourite fermented soybean paste, is great as a soup, a glaze for fish and vegetables, as a salad dressing and so much more. Here is your chance to make your very own miso from scratch.

In a group of 20, you’ll try different kinds of miso, make your own and take home a completed batch. Making miso at home is a traditional winter activity in Japan. In Okayama Prefecture, where Meg grew up, miso recipes and techniques are passed through the family; in keeping with this spirit, this is a family-friendly event, and a perfect way to begin a new tradition to share with your family and friends.

Each ticket includes admission for one adult and one child.
