Foraging and Feasting with Lûmé

A unique foraging experience and dinner with an expert forager

Join Lûmé executive chef and expert forager Elijah Holland for a very special day out.

A small group will travel to secret locations and forage some stunning produce under the guidance of Elijah Holland. Find a variety of mushrooms, blackberries and more around Spargo Creek in central Victoria. Pick wild mint and elderberries at the picturesque Sailor Falls, before visiting a lavender farm for more goodies on the way back.

The day starts at Lûmé at 7.30am, rain, hail or shine, meeting with Elijah and the team for a bite of breakfast before heading out together on the bus. You’ll be provided with lunch and afternoon tea, coffee and drinks along the way.

After the foraging adventure is complete, you’ll arrive back at Lûmé at 3pm, from where you can either head home to change out of your woollens and boots and freshen up before dinner, or opt to relax at the restaurant and enjoy aperitifs ahead of the whole group reconvening at Lûmé at 6pm to experience chef Holland's curated tasting menu with matched drinks, featuring all the goodies you’ve foraged over the day, and a good deal more besides.

This is a rare experience to join one of Australia's leading foragers, exploring Victoria's abundance of ingredients – a true paddock to plate adventure.
