Learn to cook a traditional home-style Greek spread

Join an intimate cooking class led by The Hellenic Odyssey's Kelly Michelakis, a Greek home cook with a proud heritage. While Kelly creates a generous spread, she’ll also share insights about the origins and benefits of a Mediterranean diet. You’ll learn to prepare home-style dishes that aren’t commonly found in restaurants then you’ll sit down to enjoy the feast.

Dishes may include tirokafteri, a spicy feta dip; patzarosalata, a chunky beetroot dip and salad; gemista, rice-stuffed tomatoes; tiropita, handmade fillo pastries; and keftedes, minced-beef patties. And, of course, there’s baklava to finish.

Some of the dishes may include the below:

Tirokafteri - Spicy feta dip
Patzarosalata - Chunky Beetroot dip & leaves salad

Gemista - Rice-stuffed tomatoes with fresh herbs and olive oil
Tiropita - Handmade filo pastry pie made from scratch with two cheeses

Kotopoulo kokkinisto me hilopites - Chicken and egg noodle pasta in a tomato-based sauce
Keftedes - Beef mince patties

Baklava - Aromatic and crunchy filo pastry & nut dessert
