Whisky connoisseurs understand the unique qualities of a single malt. Northern Git and Spirits Platform want to take that appreciation to the next level with a dinner featuring food and whisky that have each gone through a maturation process.
From dry-aged meat to smoked fish, five very different dishes will showcase the power of time and ageing in food and spirits. The menu from Northern Git includes house-cured prosciutto, house-smoked salmon and nine-year-old Dexter Ex-Breeder dry aged for 140 days, plus Argentine brisket cooked over peat on the spit roast. Each course will be paired with a single malt from around the world.
Andy Buntine from Spirits Platform will present a welcome drink and answer any whisky-related questions throughout the night.
