Murrindindi Comes to Melbourne

An Italian feast celebrating Victorian produce.

Melbourne institution Il Duca draws on the rich agricultural traditions of Victoria’s north-east for this special event. Chef Dominic Bonadio is working with Marian Rennie, renowned artist and cook, and Christine and Philip Challen, producers at Little River Wines, to put the Murrindindi region in the spotlight.

The five-course feast pays homage to southern Italian generosity, showcasing some of Murrindindi’s leading produce, including Taggart’s Paddock pork, Yea cheese, Dobson’s potatoes grown by the legendary Geoff and Bronwyn Dobson, Cathedral Valley honey, local trout and more, including Marian Rennie’s own produce and wine from Little River.
