Sake seems the obvious choice to pair with Japanese food, but can wine work just as well? If you're in the capable hands of Magnum & Queens co-owner Virginia Selleck, it's a close call.

Virginia, a trained sommelier as well as co-owner of one of Melbourne's best wine stores, will go head to head with master sake sommelier Andre Bishop of Kumo Izakaya in this special dinner. Each will choose a sake and a wine to pair with different dishes, in a battle of fermented grapes against fermented rice.
