The Great Italian Cook-off

The North and South of Italy battle it out, one dish at a time.

Pasta alla norma or agnolotti del plin?
Cannoli versus tiramisu.
Nero D’avola head to head with Valpolicella.

Tipico is staging a battle for the tastebuds of Melbourne, with northern Italy going up against the south in what's set to be a delicious clash.

Chef Adam D’Sylva (Coda, Tonka) will draw on his Abruzzese heritage while Tipico’s Daniele Colombo - hailing from Milano - will represent the north, as they fight for the title of best Italian cuisine.

Over four courses, the pair will deliver a taste of the North and the South, along with a wine pairing (from Tricolore Imports) for each dish. Eight dishes, eight wines, but only one winner. At the end of the night, you'll decide who it is.
