A menu that pays tribute to one of nature's greatest gifts.
Delve deep into the world of the honey bee, one of the most critical animals of our ecosystem, in this interactive and informative event.
Without bees, plants and crops would fail to be pollinated, threatening our entire food system. Yet the health and survival of the honey bee is an ongoing concern around the world.
Find out more about how honey is created and harvested, what different varieties of honey mean, and more as Left Bank Melbourne and Liam Spurrell of Spurrell Foraging pay tribute to the tiny but mighty bee. Liam, a former chef with time at Vue de Monde, will work with the Left Bank Melbourne kitchen to showcase honey in all its forms in a creative three-course menu. Each course will be paired with a Victorian gin cocktail infused with honey.
In the atrium, you can explore abandoned beehives, honeycomb and a range of varieties of honey, before trying a honey-infused cocktail in the pop-up bar or some cheese infused with herbs selected by Spurrell Foraging.
