Those Who Wandered

Step back in time and discover St Kilda's secret history.

Take a journey into St Kilda's past with a night at the suburbs beating heart, the 140-year-old Hotel Esplanade, AKA The Espy. Reopening in 2018 the pub has fully embraced its rich history, with never before seen areas now open for public enjoyment!

This event will bring the stories of The Espy to life, from the eccentric Alfred Felton who both lived and died at The Espy to the rumours of mysterious hauntings within its four walls.

Interactive storytelling will be combined with a six dish tasting experience featuring alternative proteins, foraged wild weeds and freshly caught seafood, with wild-fermented Victorian wines and cocktails with delightful surprises along the way.

Explore multiple rooms of The Espy and delve deep into a fascinating chapter of Melbourne's history.
