Get ready for a three-day, three-level Trans-Tasman takeover of the French Saloon and Kirk’s Wine Bar precinct on the corner of Hardware Lane and Little Bourke Street celebrating the vinous and gastronomic wonders of Australia’s “little bro” across the ditch.
The “What Lies Beneath Cellar Sessions” will take you on a deep dive of New Zealand wine. What better way to spend Labour Day for the wine masterclass masters among us.
10 to 12 wines will be presented by Master of Wine Stephen Wong over superb shared plates to match.
The Sommelier Selection
New Zealand Master of Wine Stephen Wong cut his teeth in the dining rooms of some of Wellington’s top venues, so he knows a thing or two about creating a great wine list.
In this session, gain insight into the role of a professional sommelier and understand why the hidden gems we’ve selected are made for a premium wine list.
Allocated seating: Shared tables. Please notify email@example.com for any groups where tickets haven’t been purchased together.
Note: No wheelchair access
New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: What if everything you thought you knew was wrong?
