Palisa Anderson

When she’s not busy running Boon Luck Farm in Byron Bay, you might find Palisa Anderson at Boon Café in Sydney or helping her mother, Amy Chanta, run the family business: the hugely successful chain of Chat Thai restaurants. Anderson virtually grew up in restaurants and is passionate about ensuring the many branches of Chat Thai are as sustainable as they can be. This passion led her to found Boon Luck Farm, where she and her family grow hard-to-find Thai, native Australian and heirloom produce to supply not only Chat Thai but a raft of other restaurants across New South Wales.
