The title of Yasmin Newman’s first cookbook gives a clue to just how diverse Filipino food is. 7000 Islands: Cherished Recipes and Stories from the Philippines shares the personal memories, cultural insights and beloved recipes of Newman, a food and travel writer who was born to a Filipino mother and Australian father.
