An Indian Food Festival in Fitzroy

Fitzroy’s Rochester Hotel is throwing an epic party to celebrate the new wave of Indian chefs, winemakers and producers who are shaking up Australia’s food and wine scene. The line-up includes Horn Please, Biji Dining, Ish Restaurant and more serving up a variety of Indian classics with a twist and more.

Craving comfort food? Eat like a Dane at Denmark House in the heart of Melbourne and soak up some Danish hygge. Pre-dinner canapes and craft beer will prepare you for a feast of massive proportions. The four-course menu includes the national dish of Denmark, stegt flæsk (that’s fried pork belly to you), served with potatoes in parsley sauce.

Glamping Dinner & Tanzanian Safari Experience

Enter African-inspired restaurant PolÄ“polÄ“’s tent for an intimate glamping dinner with Maasai warrior Allen Mollel. Mollel will share stories of his upbringing and culture as you eat your way to East Africa via dishes including ostrich, crocodile and masala chai.

One Night in Shanghai

Be transported to the grand Shanghai Teahouse with unlimited amounts of dumplings, pork buns, calamari and more staples at Oriental Teahouse’s street food yum cha party. The Chapel Street restaurant will transform into a Shanghai street party, complete with the exciting sounds, smells and visuals of the city as a live DJ turns it up for the night.
