Join us at the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival for a celebration of what we do best - food, drink and getting together with our communities to enjoy it.

Melbourne's beating heart is its thriving food and drink scene – cosy cafés, world-class restaurants and fabulous bars.

This city is lucky to have creative, talented, passionate, resilient and hard-working hospitality operators who make up the 20,000 restaurants in this state and employ over 300,000 people.

These Victorians have created something very special, a brand that is celebrated the world over. That brand is Melbourne. Our food and drink scene is central to the Brand Melbourne story, is a key pillar in our tourism story, and is one of the things that make this city such a great place to visit and live, work, stay and play. Let's make the most of it.

City of Melbourne

Whether you enjoy leisurely breakfasts, long lunches, intimate dinners or simply catching up with friends over the latest Victorian vintage, there’s something for every taste bud at the March edition of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the city for one of the most anticipated events on our culinary calendar, serving up more than 100 events over 10 days this autumn.

The City of Melbourne is proud to support the free and accessible program of events at the Queen Victoria Market.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, I encourage you to book a ticket and explore our produce, our talented chefs and the passion for food for which Melbourne is justly famous.

The only problem will be choosing what to savour!

Bank of Melbourne

As a proud supporter of Victoria’s food, wine and hospitality industries, Bank of Melbourne is excited to take part in this year’s Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.

In its 30th year, the Festival’s role in championing these industries that have been particularly challenged over the past two years is more important than ever. In our 11th year as Principal Partner, we look forward to again be celebrating Victoria as one of the great food and drink destinations of the world.

We encourage you to explore the fantastic program of events on offer and share a meal with family and friends as a way to connect in our community, while helping our local producers, winemakers, chefs and restaurateurs to thrive.
